The Governing Body at West meadows Primary school is seeking to appoint a well-motivated, enthusiastic HLTA. Applications are welcome from both experienced candidates as well as those seeking to start their career as a HLTA

We are looking for someone who:

  • Experience of working in a primary school setting
  • Has excellent numeracy/literacy skills
  • Has a good understanding of child development and learning processes
  • Has the ability to relate well to children and adults

Where the post is required to work with children under 5 it is covered by the Disqualification under the Childcare Act 2006 and 2018 regulations.  The preferred candidate for this post will therefore be required to complete a self-disclosure form in addition to an enhanced DBS check.
